Youth Ministry Program
This is a joint venture between the PTC and Presbyterian Youth Victoria (PYV) to provide the ACTh CertTheol course to young adults through the teaching and camping program of PYV. The initial subject focus will be to provide the CertTheol by facilitating and delivering the following 6 ACT CertTheol units: Old Testament, New Testament, Christian Belief, Christian Leadership and Management, Christian Education, Lay Ministries Field Education.
Subjects may be delivered by any of three methods:
- PYV Summer Camp Intensive Streams – PYV, using lecturers approved by the PTC faculty, conduct lectures over Summer Camp
- PTC Short Courses – PTC offers appropriate units from its Certificate in Bible and Ministry (CertBM) course to meet the CertTheol syllabus for ACT accreditation.
- Distance – Distance material adapted from PYNSW may be used.
A programme of delivery is in place to allow students to complete the six units within two years. Students enrolled in this programme may apply to PTC for library access. The PTC may charge a reasonable fee for this. For more information please contact:
