PTC organises short courses each semester on subjects of general interest for Christian people. In 2002 the first English short course held at the college was on Sharing the Gospel. Since then different courses have been orgainsed. The first Cantonese Chinese short course started in 2005 and the Mandarin in 2010. Teachers with expertise in the subject area are invited to lead the classes.
These short courses can be taken as part of The Certificate of Bible and Ministry (CertBM). This is a training program provided by the Presbyterian Theological College for those seeking to further their Christian knowledge, such as elders, deacons, Sunday School teachers, youth leaders, Bible study group leaders, Christian teachers.
