If you sense that God has called you to a particular ministry of the Word, whether as a pastor, evangelist, teacher or counsellor, either in Australia or overseas, then the kind of theological training you choose must be worthy of that choice.

After more than thirty years on the front-line of Gospel ministry in fields such as biblical preaching, teaching and writing, I know that the most important factor in determining where you should study is the capacity of College lecturers to equip you to rightly handle the Holy Scriptures and to model the Christian life.

At the Presbyterian Theological College of Victoria we believe that we are engaged in a spiritual war in which Christ’s kingdom is advanced through prayer and the proclamation of the Word. We are on a mission that will lead to ultimate victory.

Our task is to expound the whole counsel of God, demolish the falsehoods of our age, release Satan’s captives, and bring every thought captive to Christ. We want to train men and women for various kinds of Christian ministry so that as mature disciples they can transmit the true Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit to a desperately needy world.
